Shadyside PA on Walnut street was an OK show for us. It was well attended and the weather was beautiful! The agony... 3:30 am set up on Saturday which ran until 7pm, ugh! The pizza was excellent and so was the water. We stayed at the Shadyside Inn 2 blocks from the show. That place was great. Acorn restaurant and Mercurios I highly recommend. The jury is still out on whether we would attend again. WestHampton....the agony, army showers. We glamped in a camper in someone’s back yard in Center Moriches. 80 bucks a night not bad for the Hamptons. Actually we had a lot of fun the weather was stunning, cool nights and not so hot days. The way the light hits at that time a year is sparkling. We did pretty good there. Future orders are highly likely.
Set up was super easy, pull right up to your space and unload. Easy Peasy. Then parking was feet away from that. We took the ferry from New London to Orient Pt and drove in the back way. Light traffic all the way. Get this our ferry boat was supposed to be the Mary Ellen but we arrived 2 hours early. Fortunately they had room for us on another boat so we took that. Then, we are driving to the glamper and we pass a road named Mary Ellen. Later, after some sales on Saturday and nibbles all day on Sunday, ten minutes before tear down, our whale, the big fish and guess what? Her name, Mary Ellen, the ecstasy!

This weekend (Memorial Day 2019) begins our adventures in traveling the country exhibiting and hopefully selling our artwork. In this blog, I plan to document our successes, critique the art festivals we participate in and anything else that might be note worthy. Archives
