What is Needle Felting?
We create these charming sculptures from pure, organic wool using a process called "Needle Felting".
Needle felting is the process of transforming wool into 3D sculptures using a barbed needle. When you felt wool, you’re poking the fibers with the needle so they bond together, creating a solid fabric. As you create this solid fabric you shape the sculpture into the form you wish to create; be it a bird or a mouse or any creature imaginable.

Using these special, barbed needles we meticulously shape the wool into a lifelike form. With great attention to detail, we add the finishing touches of color with layers of naturally dyed wool. Hand sculpted beaks from clay, hand-painted, wood carver feet and glass eyes complete each piece.
The final result is a very realistic sculpture - convincing enough to seem ready to fly right off of your wall.
