Reverse paintings and two sculpture pieces the agony began. At Beaver Creek the turn out was low, for us it was not a buying crowd. After driving 32 hours to get here our hopes were high. Maybe we should have been high. The altitude affected me, I felt like I was gonna fall over any minute. I also felt like I could cry any minute. We didn’t sell anything! Does our work suck? Maybe we should have brought something else... a lot of money in Beaver Creek, but not for us. Many other artists said Sunday was the buying day, well, none of our be backs came back and Sunday was worse than Saturday. To top it all off It started to rain and we had to pack it all up wet...yuck. Moral of the story... sell in your own backyard....I am a sea level gal.

This weekend (Memorial Day 2019) begins our adventures in traveling the country exhibiting and hopefully selling our artwork. In this blog, I plan to document our successes, critique the art festivals we participate in and anything else that might be note worthy. Archives
